Anyone else have problems with mates using different systems/Consoles

Does anyone else have problems with there mates playing on different gaming systems/consoles ???

As some my mates play on xbox360 some on PS3 and others PC gaming..

So went a new game comes out most my mates have bought it for different systems and we can play against each other...

My mates are all on Xbox and I'm on PC.

That's what I loved about Halo, everyone who had it could play together.
