Played Metro with no problems at all and middle of this week installed my new 6970 and still no probs.
Problem started with caspian some games went on for hours other just 5 min and a complete lock to a cream colour screen needing complete reboot.

Tried everything you could think of and have now reformated and will have to wait for final realease.

Question is how many others had problems with beta.

One tip I heard was to not OC card but still give it some extra volts.

PS no probs in other games and like I said Metro plays fine
 
It was only a beta mate, there were plenty of graphical glitches on it. My screen wouldn't randomly flicker with different colours and sometimes just randomly crash.

If all your other games are working fine then put it down to the beta. If it was happening on all your other games then maybe you could look at some possible fixes.

It's normally good practice to upgrade your graphics card drivers, I think ATI did a 11.10 preview driver for the beta.

I guess you'll have to wait for the real game to come out to see if it's still an issue :)
 
To play BF3 BETA you are (or were now the BETA is closed) meant to use the 11.10 or 11.10v2 preview drivers from ATI rather than 11.9 (or older)

As Marc said, retail game will be a lot more polished off and ATI/NVIDIA will have the fixes in to the next release of drivers, hopefully
