Anyone else having problems with Soundblaster Z in Windows 10?

Just updated to build 10130 and lost my sound. Reinstalled the 8.1 drivers from the SBZ website, but no luck. Anyone else having issues?

seems their W10 drivers aren't quite ready yet:

If possible, use motherboard sound til then..?
Not ideal I know but probably better than nothing.

I haven't installed Windows 10 just yet, but currently setting up a seperate SSD to if everything gets messed up I can just use my W7 SSD til official release :3

Same here. No sound on build 10130. I've removed the Z until Creative release W10 drivers in July. MB sound ok for now.

i managed to get audio back by changing sample audio rate to 96000

it a strange issue, but if you change the sample rate it comes back. Hopefully the creative drivers will be out soon for a proper fix.

Do you just change the sample audio rate in the Advanced tab of the Speaker Properties? I've just done that & rebooted, but still not getting any sound

Edit:
Oh, just clicked Restore Defaults & my sound is back. Weird.

I now also have a 192000 Hz option, so I guess MS played with all that stuff in 10130

Edit:
Ah, it's when it goes back to stereo that it works. 5.1 not working, even when I change the Hz.

Yes I had to change to stereo for now 5.1 is kinda broken.

Hmm that sucks. Hopefully Creative come out with new drivers soon - they did say early June.

That's just the change to stereo fix unfortunately. You have to set the sound to stereo on every boot to get it working.
