Hi,

I am having some strange voltage issues with my Striker II Extreme.
Say I set the VCore to 1.2V, rebooting and vieweing the voltages in the BIOS indicates that VCore is around 1.3V! This is the same with all of the other voltage settings, e.g. Mem, NB....

I am using the BIOS that shipped with the mobo, and am aware that there is now a newer BIOS, non BETA, available. Does this sort this problem out?

I am really concerned becuase I have to set the VCore manually to around 1.24V in the BIOS for a stable system, which then results in a voltage of around 1.3V, this is 0.05V over the intels recommended voltage, and is crazy considering this this used to run at around 1.2V on a Striker II Formula.

Anyone else getting the same results?

cheers

Voltage reporting on my S-II-E was bonkers!

Switching in the loadline calibration stopped the CPU drooping so far it failed, but then my problem was voltages coming out lower than set, and then falling further under Vdroop. If you wish to try setting LLC on, reduce your vcore a little first, as it will likely rise a little (effectively) when LLC is on.
This MIGHT enable you to set a lower initial voltage in BIOS, knowing it'll actually maintain it.
