Anyone else having Xbox LIVE difficulties?

I heard there was a problem with the LIVE service the other day. I'm still having issues now.

EVERYTHING else works fine. I can browse the net on all computers in my houehold fine. Can play PC games fine. Can use Skype fine. Can use my PS3 fine. Xbox can connect but then disconnects whenever I'm in a party or private chat and while playing Dead Rising 2 with my mate, just disconnects. I have to turn my box off and then on again only to have the same **** happen.

I've done the connection test. Everything is fine. Open NAT etc. My ping is low and I have zero packet loss on my line. WTH is going on!?

* I should also add that the xbox.com website is slow for me to load. At one point yesterday it wouldn't even load yet other websites loaded just fine.

I have some similar problems on O2 and I know it's due to pings not getting out from the Xbox to the Live servers. You need to open something up on the router to allow the pings through, and sometimes that's non-trivial.

I have to do a connection test before it allows me to sign in. Every time!

It was workign fine the other day. The router has UPNP enabled and all the rest of that stuff. No idea what's up. Think it's on MS's end.

I would constantly lose connection to xbl but t was due to a weak wi-fi connection. Couldn't be bothered with it anymore and haven't renewed my gold subscription.

internet connection most of the time for me, normally after BT ring and I dont want any offers I say "no" then for 30mins or so after the call I have no internet like they press a button to annoy me..
