Mine yellow lighted but was fixed, now it has some crazy awful sounding external fan on it, that doesn't really fit properly.

Yup, 40GB GTA4 Package when it came out. I've chucked a 80Gb drive in tho. Only gets used now to play films for the Mrs. My Xbox is for the real gaming

Mine was a 80GB version but the previous owner swapped it for a 500GB one.

Sadly not, it suffered YLoD at the end of November aged 4 and a half. Did try reviving it using a heatgun on the GPU/CPU but it only managed to stay on long enough for me to get some save data off of there.

Still, I have a nice 320GB slim now, one of the 'better' ones with the illuminated buttons. It's quieter than my old 40GB too, although the disc drive is a bit noisier. I don't think we'll ever see another console again that was as solid as the original PS3s were.

Yep, 60gb still going strong since launch. But i also have a 160gb incase one day i get the YLOD.

Got 80GB fatty, which I put a 320GB into. I prefer it over the slim too, although I could settle for that... the super slim though? NOPE! xD

My release day 60GB is still going strong, it's running a 320GB spare drive I had now though and I never game on it anymore bar the very rare occasion.

40gb fat here thought it's got a 500gb in it now. Probably only got about 60 hours playtime on it so a long way from breaking I hope! Only play exclusives on it, everything else is 360.

I have a 80GB fatty in the living room with an upgraded 320GB hdd and a 160GB slim one in the bedroom. its debatable which one is more quite but I have totally stripped the fatty down to clean it about 9 months ago.

IMHO the fatty does look better especially compared to the super slim one; which does look cheap.
