Does anyone else here throw controllers? I have just thrown my PS3 controller in a fit of rage during a burnout race as I wrecked just before the finish line in a race to the wind farm. :o The controller is not broken but I can hear stuff rattling inside. I need more self control :)
 
Ninja Gaiden is the only game that has ever taken me to that point, it was something about being slaughtered really early on in the game over and over and over again that made me break a controller...
 
No never, although I have recently slammed the controller into my head in frustration while trying to do a cone challenge on pgr4. I have absolutely no idea why I did it.

Ive done it plenty of times:p...in fact my first yr and half of having my 360 i must have went through 5 wireless controllers :/:p.

Although nowadays i dont get so stressed, if i do then i just take a break for 30 mins and im good to go. Although i do admit to cursing a lot during a game, especially if its really annoying me ie cant do a certain level.
 
I think i've spent over £200 on xbox 360 controllers :eek: also i broke a 2405fpw(thanks to cod 4)

I'm not usually an angry guy but when it comes to gaming i can lose my temper very quickly, especially when playing against cheating a.i(like need for speed and there rubberband cars :mad:)


EDIT: I even remember head butting the old xbox pad and breaking the circular dome that covered the green X :o

haahaa, i had same problem with ninja gaiden, i really did throw the controller few times,

also long time ago i hit C64 so hard some keys stopped working, it wasn't funny after i couldn't play games on it anymore,

after that i learned a lesson not to hit keyboards or other stuff hard as it only damages and at the end you only regret what you've done,
 
My mate at work had to buy a new PS2 player the other week because he'd literally smashed his to bits by beating it against the wall :eek:

I've been sorely tempted to throw my DS across the room, usually while attempting to finish Canned Heat on Cruisin' on EBA. I can do that level on the harder difficulties, but for some reason on that difficulty it's just a monstrous pain in the arse.
 
as frustrated as i get playing games sometimes, it's never once crossed my mind to throw a controller.

however, my sofa has taken a hell of a beating.
 
No game annoys me that much. if it's difficult I just keep trying. I'm completing Halo 3 on the legendary at the moment, one small bit took me about 30 mins to do (and by small I mean i literally moved a couple of hundred metres) and then got 1 hit killed by a sniper. Good fun, definitely not frustrating enough to throw a controller.
 
Pro Evo ate my joypad.
Not chucked my sixaxis yet, but I think I'm subconsciously aware that it's not attached to anything, so if I fling it, it'll hit something and break.
DS2 pads are wired, so by default they don't go too far if you lob them.
 
Never thrown a controller but have come close. There's this bit on Uncharted in crushing difficulty where the continue points are a bit further apart than they normally are and there's two big fights between them. I managed to get through both fights apart from one guy, a guy i didn't notice, a guy carrying a grenade launcher. All i heard was the noise of the gun firing and just closed my eyes and prayed it would miss... it didn't.
 
Not chucked one no... but punched my 360 controller that hard it nearly broke my wrist. Strong controllers. Stellios can testify for this, as my hand appeared to be like Stallone's jaw line.
 
I cant say I have ever got this angry while playing a game but my mate is like this and often throws his controllers about but I make sure he doesnt ever throw mine :rolleyes:
