Anyone else notice a boost in rysis performance?

HI, i have been playing crysis for a while now and generally got about 30fps with everything on high, i have a 3870xt @ 830/2600. Since upgrading to catalyst 8.3 and crysis patch 1.2 i have seen a massive boost in performance, i can now get 35-40 fps with the same settings or 30 fps with everything on very high, i can also run everything on high with 8x anti aliasing on and get 30 fps, has anyone else seen a difference, the rest of my system is in my sig, i was also wondering whether my overclocks (cpu and GPU) would have had anything to do with it.

The latest cats improved performance for the newer gen cards if i remember.

Don't think the latest patch changed performance though?

What res is that at? because i dont think thats possible above 1280*1024 let alone 1024*768...

Cant guarantee that it'll make any increase in your FPS, but it certainly makes it look a WHOLE lot nicer and in my opinion a LOT smoother, seems to have toned down the most stressful graphics bits but I dont seem to notice any difference.

Since the last patch you don’t seem to take such a big performance hit with using AA
