Hey All

Anyone else here played MOSS?

Incredible, installed and then played from start to finishing in one sitting, we need more titles like this for VR, I was running it on a Rift with 1.5SS and the graphics are stunning.

If you like platform style puzzles, think Tomb Raider, then give a go.

I enjoyed it, but it has its flaws imo. I did look really nice, the setting was great, but puzzles weren't challenging, and the combat pretty much never evolves. The difficulty needed to ramp up on all fronts, along with its overall length (like you, I finished it in one go).

Certainly worth a go, but I'd say wait for a sale at this point if you've not played it. If you want a game with a mouse (on a monitor), I'd recommend Ghost of a Tale over Moss any day (though it's much more stealth/adventure focused compared to Moss).

I think you can get Ghost of a Tale working in VR, but I'm not sure how well it runs. Moss is something that I have an interest in being a fan of the 3rd person platformers in VR, but ultimately it's waiting for a sale of 50% given the limited length of the game. From what I understand, they'll be following up the series with more content as it did fairly well from where it originated on the PSVR.

Astrobot looks like it's going to do well on the PSVR, even the likes of IGN are fronting up positive vibes. Sony are packing it in bundle for holiday sales, so more exposer for the VR movement and for the 3rd person platform genre.

Not an awful lot out there, but I always recommend Yooka Laylee and the VR hack. Once you move the scale and lock the camera it plays near flawless, you'll need the VR stones though for cutscene spinning action.

Hell Blade is worth checking out too, if you have it for the table top mode in VR. Lastly +1 for VR in the steam forum for a Hat in Time, that's the one that'd be magic in VR.

Moss: Book 2 released today on steam.

Many waited on the PC release, great to see it drop out of nowhere... If you own the original on steam, you can buy the franchise pack and get £3 off the purchase.
