My baby boy is teething. Well, all the signs are present. Biting down on stuff more, drooling lots (not unusual for him though), rash around his mouth, swollen cheeks...

With our lass working nights I'll be up for the long haul. Luckily he let me have at least 3 hours last night

Debating whether to make a coffee now or save it til the really difficult hours between 3 and 5. Might have irn bru for now. Must resist the beer.

I've never dealt with teething before, my other who is 8 now was 3 when he ran screaming into my life

Vaseline on his lips, bonjela on his gums and suspension in his tummy and he's still unsettled.

I watched all four hours of treasure island with him waking up crying for each ad break!

Just had a thought.... How do you underclock babies ? Mine is burning hot, adequate cooling had been arranged but he's still running hot.

Suggestions / hardware mods seriously considered

What age? Mine has watered down juice, keeps him cool and at optimal processing.

Why not ignore the teething crys? There isn't anything you can do to stop the pain and you will just become completely knackered!

im not suggesting you try this but, isn't whisky supposed to be good with teething? local anaesthetic and helps sleep.

also anaesthetic is really hard to spell when tired which is kinda ironic

Well, it isn't true that I can't do anything. I can soothe him and rock him back to sleep so he has a bit of respite. I'll just need to be coffee powered at work tomorrow.

Thankfully I'm the boss so I can go in any time! Tho I need to go to kwik fit for a new tyre.
