Anyone else receive COD:MW2 today?

I cant believe it - I never expected to get it this early - I thought the PC release was delayed still further.

oh well looks like my weekend is planned lol and all for 23.99 inc VAT.

anyone else get it?

ahh looks like i may have gotten excited prematurely as i doubt my key will work until tuesday either then lol.

installing now but i wont get my hopes up.

I think the reason is because of the planned mail strikes not going ahead... it was posted on a website gaming website with three letters...I don't know if I can post that... Mod's, if I can't, tell me and don't ban me

kinda wish it simply said "product not ready for activation" or something instead of 'your key is invalid'.

Yea its a pain mate. It should do what it does with other games and allow you to install it but will unlock on a certain day.

The game won't unlock on Steam until the 12th with CD-key activation on the 10th. It was only sent out early due to the postal strike that was cancelled this weekend.

Same. It said check that the letter I isn't the number 1. Then I clicked on the Steam link. No activation 'til Tuesday.

Posted this in the other MW2 thread. I also can't install either SP or MP; it won't confirm the serial key when you try to install for the first time.

I'm slightly concerned that on the back of the case it says "Not for sale in UK". I hope this doesn't give me problems installing this with Steam. Region-based serial keys have been a problem on Steam before...

Yeah just heading out the door and found a parcel containing mw2 waiting for me on my doorstep. Have not had a chance to try and install as going to the gym then shopping with the missus but disappointed I won't be able to get the sp on the go tonight, guess it's back to dragons age

This might mean that activating it through Steam may be an issue. I hope for your sake that it is not however.

Glad I cancelled my pre-order (for other reasons which I've gone into enough in other threads) as if it is dodgy at all, then I wouldn't have been best pleased.
