anyone else send joke emails

That is so far from being funny it couldn't see funny from the top of a very tall, very unfunny ladder.

It's people like you that ruin office environments for everyone.
 
I think this has been blown out of proportion, this email was sent to 3 people, not out of the blue, it's something that has been going on for months between the 5 of us. Thats why I had ran out of ideas of something to write, that was the first thing that came into my head while he was at lunch.
no-one will get sacked or get offended nor will people turn up at his house.
He isnt even married yet

The point is as an in joke between mates fairplay but from the way you described it initially you were acting as though this was a completely circulated joke email that went to all your colleagues where in fact it would get most people in say a day to day office job sacked or at least an official warning... TBQF this is NSFW period!

Its quite clearly daft. If that was sent through my work email, you would end up with a P45, im almost certain!
 
Lots of people send joke emails around OP.

You must realise though that this is OcUK GD, where the first reply will dictate how the thread goes, if the reply was "hell yeah, here's one I sent earlier lolololol" then you would have had a completely different set of responses.

Tis how the GD works.

Maybe I should have described the circumstances better in the OP, I wasn't looking for opinions on the email I sent, I was asking if anyone else had done stuff similar that I could use next time, I included my email to show the type of email sent

But this is GD.. the only thing here is opinions! IMO some people need to stop giving their opinions

I don't know who you personally work for/at, but if that was sent from anyones email address to a group of people here, it might be picked up on and someone would either get a severe warning or their p45.

Not to mention using someone elses login is a straight up gross misconduct due to how everything is logged by username.
