Anyone else sent their ps3 for repair and got it back with a different fault?

I sent my 60GB PS3 in to Sony on Friday to repair a faulty laser disc. It came back today and this happens when I switch it on http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=TVXzN7jCcRA&feature=related :mad:

It is so annoying. I phoned them and they tried to offer me a 80 GB by next Wednesday as there is a lead time on the remanufactured of 60 Gb consoles.

The other option was to wait till the 2nd of Feburary for a 60GB as there is a delay sourcing remanufactured units. I chose the 2nd of Feburary but its so annoying sending something off for repair and getting it back with a different fault.

I'll try that now. Its not my video btw. Its just what happens to mine. I can't believe you can send somthing away for repair and receive it back with a different fault. Don't they test them? *****.

Sorry to hear.

My 60GB is going in on Monday for a faulty laser, but they told me 21 days turn around for repair, so your's was pretty quick.

I can't complain to much the PS3 warranty ended 6 months ago, and they don't plan to charge me for the repair.

My "repair" was less than a week . Just pray they actually don't botch up any thing up.
