lol, im still up its ridiculous, tried sleeping, only to toss and turn for hours, uni tomorrow too, its a joke, anyone got any tips on shocking body clocks back into gear.

Stay awake till the evening then sleep.

Or if you can't do that then sleep for 2-3 hours now and you should be nice and tired this evening.

Btw Im in the same spot as you, staying awake half an hour later every day and going to bed at 7 or so now, over Christmas/new year I've got no reason to get up in the morining so always end up doing this. Got uni next week so gonna try and get my sleeping pattern sorted today, gonna attempt plan A I think.

Yes. I've been up since 8AM. That's almost 24 hours straight, and I don't feel sleepy at all :/

Maybe I'll just suddenly pass out.

yeah, thats my plan, all night and day it and then come 7pm im hoping im shattered, if not then im well and truelly buggered :P i find it so hard to get to sleep yet just as hard to get up !

I really dislike how often the word "insomnia" gets banded about. One restless night isn't insomnia in the same way that one tickly chest cough isn't Bubonic Plague.

As above. Stay awake now until the evening. Have a shower to wake yourself up, perhaps walk instead of drive, avoid comfy chairs or warm, cozy environments. Then, come 10pm, you'll be ready to pass out.

If you really do have actual insomnia and you're still unable to sleep for a few days, i'd recommend a doctor. I'd also recommend it in the case of Bubonic Plague.

Stay awake and go to sleep at a normal time this evening. Give it a couple of days and you will be back to normal.

I've been up since 11am yesterday, had about 40 mins in naps since then. :(

Oh yeah, and I am at work until 4:30pm :(

I know what its like. I was going to bed at 6am and waking up at 4pm. Took me at least two weeks to sort out! I just tried staying awake during the day as best I could. Now I am going to bed at 9pm and waking up at 8am - much better!
