Its amazing! I bought it ages ago out of curiosity, i figured it will probably taste like cooking chocolate since it was only 30p... turned out it was better than anything else i had tasted previously!

This stuff is what im talking about:

Cadbury and galaxy can suck it :)

Left work for lunch hungry.
Came back with food.
Saw this thread.
Is disappointed he didnt read this thread before lunch.

Haha, sorry. Just thought it might be a fair warning to all those buying armfuls of the stuff. I eat so much chocolate and have never had a problem.. Until Asda's own. Though I've not had it in a good few years because of this reason.. so the recipe might have changed.

I can also recommend Smart Price honey, peanut butter, and mozarella.

Best of the budget brands for those items. Their museli is the worst though.

Smart Price / Tesco Value stuff is surprisingly fine once you get over the 'Orc-People' side of things.

There are a couple of exceptions but most of our stuff is now from that range.

Hmmmm, I may to try this chocolate of which you speak.

IMO, Tesco Value bourbon biscuits are lovely. We actually prefer those in the office to more expensive 'brands'.

Supermarket brand cheap chocolate is ranked thusly:

Tesco > Morrisons > Asda

The tesco everyday value stuff is fantastic, better than when it was tesco value.
