anyone else tried B-grade stuff?

Not sure if the OCUK B stock is worth it bth... Usually only a couple of quid in it and you may be in trouble if you need the warranty...

Caveat emptor

That seemed a pretty good price, whenever I've looked around for it, its been £75ish or so. Oh well, fingers crossed!

I got a B grade Overclockers 24" tft about a year ago now it even had the decent panel in think they are PVA its not a TN anyway, i payed £125 for it and its been faultless fantastic monitor you can't say all B grade is bad.

No said it was all bad, just that it's not supported by warranty so if it does go bad you're out of pocket. Making it somewhat of a risk if there's not a huge saving.

Hmmm i registered my monitor and have 3 years warranty but i guess its different on screens to routers.

It depends a little on the vendor. Because B Grade stuff often includes returns and refurbs it's quite possible that someone may have already registered the warranty on that product, and possibly returned it under warranty aswell.

Well I've got the router, but its an absolute PITA!
From my reading, I seem to be suffering from the same issue as a lot of other DGN2000 users:

1) Some devices can connect to but cannot see the router. i.e. connected but cannot get into the admin page, no net coming through.
2) PSN is a bit iffy, although I might faff with my DNS and get that sorted.
3) Came down this morning and had to deboot to get the SSN broadcasting again.

Fun.

Firmware update??

Sorted it, I'd left some settings in IPv4 properties from when I'd had the BeBox hooked up.

All is ok now bar not being able to get the PS3 onto PSN. This could be a Be issue though.
