Anyone else unable to get on steam?

I had huge problems over the last couple of days. Looking at the Steam forums we're not the only ones either. I finally fixed it by deleting everything from my Steam folder bar the Steam .exe and the steamapps folder, then running the .exe. After a few tries I managed to successfully update Steam and log in.

I was having some horrible problems with Steam on my Windows 7 64 bit the other day, stuck at updating platform files then froze every time I tried to load a game.

I had problems yesterday after buying TF2 when it was on offer, a repair install sorted it for me.

had a terrible time earlier getting it to work - ended up close the app and going for me tea; fine when I came back

I reinstalled Windows 7x64 Ultimate today and previously had no trouble with steam and Windows 7, but about half an hour ago trying to install steam on the new install it wasn't updating, but since I ran the steam.exe as the administrator it's working fine and currently installing the L4D2 demo.

Im able to access steam however it wont load the store page, game update fine.
