anyone else using the 780g chipset?

i bought a mobo with it recently, but to use AMD overdrive i need to update to the latest bios version

i tried this before but the update didnt work, and i had to eventually RMA the board

so has anyone done this successfully, and if so what methods did you use? i tried it from the BIOS, and i was using a floppy with the new BIOS image on it (risky i guess - but i didnt know how else to do it)

any help would be appreciated, as i really want to start using AMD overdrive, all of the other overclocking tools seem a bit sub-par compared to it

For my gigabyte 780g motherboard I put the bios file on to a USB memory stick and loaded up Qflash through the bios.

I always make sure i'm running everything at stock speeds before updating, just to be on the safe side.
