Hello all,
I know that software based overclocking solutions are generally frowned upon but I'm looking to have multiple 'profiles' for my FX-8320 - one with very low power usage and another for rendering.
Asus allows you to over/underclock the CPU from Turbo-v in AI suite, but every time I do it, it irrepairably kills Windows Aero - and it won't come back until there's a reboot. Anyone else suffering from this?
[EDIT] I just adjusted my multiplier DOWN by 100mhz, I was at 4.6GHz - down to 4.5GHz caused DWM to crap itself (Which kills the Aero effects)
