Anyone elso have a aggressive wife (Cleaning the house that is)

My wife is a aggressive cleaner - She has this idea that everything in the house is bullet proof.

Got up this morning and looked at the Hob in kitchen - On top was a piece of plastic chromed and one end had a leg snapped off - Looked around and saw that the extractor fan only had three buttons and a black hole.
When asked she said I was wiping it with a damp cloth - How did you break the knob off - Don't know it just came off.
This isn't the only thing - she thinks shower cubicles are water tight even where the rubber on edge of the sliding door is so soaks it with shower head.
If it sticks out it will eventually become a victim to her harsh wiping and dusting.

I am forever repairing things.

Is it only me ??

Have you tried getting her involved in repairing these items so she feels the burden of her actions?

Stupid boy Pike.

Noticed a few weeks ago, my sub woofer was leaning. Had a look, 1 of the rubber feet was missing with the spike going in the carpet and scratches across the front of the woofer - hoover height.

Ofc she completely denied it.

A long time ago when HiFi was the thing a mate said he went to put a record on and it made a right din - Seems wifey had dusted everything and the stylus was bent double under the arm. In those days a new stylus for my turntable was close to a £100.

Wife just walked past door with washing basket in her hands and perched on top was a tray with cup -bowl of cat food and empty packets -Bet no one can guess what happened next.
I said what did you learn this morning.
