as above really.

All 3 drawerr fronts in our freezer have snapped. As with all zanussi products they were made from the highest grade cheese plastic

From googling all afternoon the cheapest price for replacements even non genuine ones is £30-40 which is a complete joke!

Thinking of buying some acryllic and gluing in a section between the two drawer sides crewting a new front. Anyone tried this before? 4mm acrylic sound strong enough?

@Mr.Cookie Live in harlow essex. Be good if you know something i dont!

Don't suppose you also stock parts for Hoover freezers do you? Might have all done exactly the same and i've been meaning to look at fixing them for ages!

I suppose the issue is finding glue which works at the temperatures of a freezer.

Have you tried using gorilla tape to put the piece back into place?

This is what we used our Shap 70/30 FF, ive even got Gorilla tape on the glass shelf in the fridge bit, i'd buy a new fridge but this one still works well, and fridge tech hasnt really moved on like it has for other appliances.

If you've got a soldering iron you could plastic weld them back together, doesn't work with all plastics though

No sorry just Electrolux group

Was thinking of duct taping them together but thought some acrylic and glue would be more permanent.

Looks like @Mr.Cookie might be able to sort me out tho and save me some monies.

£150 for some freezer drawers is a bit of a joke.

I've repaired most of the drawer fronts in my freezer.

Once they started splitting I bolted and riveted metal reinforcements in before they completely failed.

The price for these draws is horrendous for all brands, we regularly have people who say "can you get us one of these" then we tell them the price.

Spare parts tend to always be expensive as they've got you over a barrel - I was £50 I think it was for a set of door hinges, cheaper than replacing the unit!

Coming back to this as havent heard anymore from @Mr.Cookie unfortunatly.

Think im gonna try some acrylic and silicone and see if they last. Only problem i forsee is the silicon failing from the cold
