I have had it since launch, but recently, I have noticed a problem which I think it's to do with the battery.

Basically, the charge meter on the battery is quite unreliable, for example I had 28% charge, then the phone turns itself off and tells me to charge. When I connect to charge it switches on and its on 28% and carries on from there.

Could it be a glitch with iOS, do you think restoring will help?

Thanks

Battery wise, it sounds like you have a damaged cell within the battery that can't hold its charge. I could be wrong and it could be a glitch, but technically it sounds like a battery/cell faulty.

I have also had a few beers tonight, so could be completely wrong lol.

Drain your battery all the way flat and leave it for 15 minutes, then plug it in. As soon as its plugged in and turns on, go to:

Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

Once that has done do a hard reset by:

Holding the Home + Power button down together until it turns off AND you see the Apple logo come up. Then charge without taking it off to 100% and do a hard reset again.
