I have a Iiyama 20.1" monitor (ProLite E511B), which has served me very well for about 20 months but it has started giving off a high-pitched whine. I think it's something to do with the transformer or something, and can be heard whether the monitor is on or off (but plugged in to the AC). One thing I've noticed is that the pitch varies with the level of brightness.
Basically, I don't think it is something I can fix myself, and I'm not really using the monitor because the whining gives me a headache. I was wondering what other peeps' experiences are with Iiyama's customer service. Would I be banging my head against a brick wall trying to get an RMA nearly 2 years after I bought the monitor?
