I got a Samsung UE40H6400 today connected to my Virgin Tivo box and i'm experiencing lip-sync/audio-delay issues that i cant seem to fix by altering the audio delay setting in the TV's options. I did some googling but it seems to be mostly Sky TV users experiencing the same problem.

Not sure what to do really besides getting a replacement TV.

Thanks

found this on google ,maybe it will help you

There has recently been issues in relation to lip sync in relation to ITV HD and Virgin are investigating the problem. The issue is only apparent while the TiVo is set to output Dolby Digital. Virgin suggest setting the box to PCM until they've a long term fix for the issue. Other than this, lip sync issues are more likely to be caused by the video processing carried out by the TV than issues with the device the signal is derived from. If it is an issue with the signal then it is usually down to the broadcaster and their broadcast rather than the box or Virgin.

think this worked for me good luck

Thanks but I had actually tried that already and it made no difference and i'm actually noticing it most on non-HD skysports.

I have found that the audio sync can get quite far off on some HD channels on Sky (comedy central in particular). It's a broadcast issue and Sky have said its the fault of the channel operators and I would have thought similar things would happen on other platforms.

Thing is though i never encountered this problem in 5 years with old TV.
