Hey there, was wondering if anyone could help me to explain all the 'noise on line' and other such things that I don't have a clue about on my routers ADSL status output.

Was wondering, what sort of speeds could I expect on BE 24mb?

If BT have a good reason to put my line profile to 6mb only instead of the full 8mb seeing as the exchange is 200m away from my house?

Would be nice if I could get explanations of SNR margin and PSDM

Router is a DrayTek Vigor 2800. Hopefully thats the right info you need.

Thank you in advance :)

Has some nice explanations.

I don't know much, but with a 17.5dB attenutation, you're looking at 22-24mb down easy. I get 22mb down on Be Unlimited with a 23.5dB attenuation. Although, it went up from 15dB to 23.5dB when I switched from BT to Be.

If you get switched over to fastpath when you're on Be, you should expect some very nice speeds if your attenuation doesn't go up too much.
