Right I just got a 3200 venice with this motherboard, had a look through and dont have any idea how to overclock - things were soo much easier on my abit nf7s-v2.0, what exactly do I do? It has a million more options and I cant seem to find all the normal options unless theyve changed names.
Anyone familiar with MSI K8n Neo4 Platinum bios? Help me overclock.

aye, its more complicated on the a64 platform. drop the HT from auto to 4x or 3x, increase the fsb, set memclock index value to DDR333 to put the ram on a divider. might want to up the vcore too, I think the highest it goes to it 1.45v but then you can always add 3.3/6.6/9.9% to it, so effectively the highest is ~1.6v which is the max you should be using on air anyway imo.

the main place in the K8N bios for overclocking CPU, altering CPU multiplier, HT multipler and so on is in the 'core cell' section of the bios, i have the exact same motherboard and exact same processor as well, except perhaps a older revision
