Anyone fancy contributing to a blog?

I have been blogging about games for a while now on a website I set up years ago. It started off as a terribly designed page but last year I transferred it into a blog and use google's blogger service to update it etc.

The problem is, I really struggle to find the time to update it as much as I'd like to and would love to get more people involved. The site seems to be getting a few hundred hits per week, which I think is largely down to the domain address itself.

If anyone around here fancies blogging on it just let me know. I don't mind what you want to discuss as long as it's games/computer related. I imagine many here already have their own blogs so I don't mind if it's just a case of pasting stuff in lol.

Cheers.

Have you had a look to possibly migrating over to a more advanced blog tool like wordpress or blogsmith? I cannot really help with adding content on games as such but would be able to lend a hand to any kind of redesign if you could find someone with good Wordpress knowledge to build the frame!

Not sure about that mate. I am quite happy with blogger atm and it seems to be getting better and better.

Thanks for all your replies. Really pleased about the reaction. I think the easiest way to do this will be for you to PM me your e-mail addresses. So, if you are up for this message me and I will go about getting an invite sent to you.

Edit: Actually, just e-mail me directly. [email protected]

I assume you're cherry picking people and not letting everyone have their way with your site?

Yeah well am not being too strict tbh but will obviously check posts and edit/delete if they are really not appropriate. The way blogger works means I can invite people as authors without admin privileges.

I've been doing odd pieces for a while for my friends (often deleting them a day or two after i've posted them). If I write something new i'll forward it on to your trust email if you like?

Edit: Infact, at the risk of ridicule here is the only article I currently have online. Posted July :p.

Edit 2: At the risk of further ridicule I may knock up something tonight.

I really liked your article mate. It was really informative and well researched. I'd love to have you on board and perhaps you could even repost that very piece (perhaps with an update regarding the dedicated server revelations).

Don't bother with that trust business though. Just e-mail me at [email protected] and I'll sort you out.

I had a thread up like this for my own site and it was deleted because of the "self promotion" thing, apparently I wanted to make money from the website so I was breaking the rules. I am surprised this is still up...

Not trying to make money. I just would like to see the site get updated more as I can't fill it all the time. Due to the view count it gets I would just love to see it more active. If this thread does get deleted though I won't challenge the decision.
