Anyone fancy creating a logo for me?

My site http://mia-media.co.uk is in need of an overhaul, it'll probably look like this when it's done http://mia-media.co.uk/ocuk/nesw (this is only a tester) as I was going to change the site name to NESW but I've decided to stick with M.I.A Media partly because I now have a daughter named Mia

Here's an idea of the type of video's I will be making:

Anyways I'd like to see what some of you can come up with, it only needs to be plain and probably only needs to be text really as I'll be putting it over the top of different backgrounds and video.

If I could have it in illustrator vector format that'd be ideal!

Can't help with the logo, but just thought I'd say I really like the video. Well shot and really well edited.

Oh, the new website is pretty poor tbh - have you not got a wed designer friend who you can trade favours with?

Haven't really touched websites for quite a while, last update to mia-media was in 2008 I think and that NESW site was designed in early 2009 and I never finished it lol.

Don't know any designers, I think I'll try and come up with a few ideas, I'm better and making videos though!

I'll have a go, have you got any specific theme you want to go for, like the poster above has gone for an army sort of theme?

Something army style could work, I quite like what apok has posted, another idea I had was a sort of 30's prohibition era gangster style crossed with a comic book style.

Nice idea but I work more in video production than photography so I don't think that logo really works in that sense.

Oh, and on the subject of logos, name a well known logo that incorporates something to do with its business (ie a video camera). You'll be hard pressed, because it's not a good idea - it's generally a bit tacky and also restricts any growth plans. And on a side note you can't trademark anything that hints/names the service or product (not useful for now, but another reason).

Yea I guess it would look quite tacky, I think ideally I just want the text to be creatively positioned for a logo that stands out. I don't really have any ideas other than that.
