well it's probably the same principal with a lot of monitors, so might work. It takes a brave man to try it!

for people who have been refused an RMA, or it's outside warranty, or they cant be bothered to return it again.....

think it's 3 years. Thing is, would they really know that you have voided the warranty? You can put it back together, but when you ring up for an RMA they have no way of checking or anything, they normally send out a replacement and change it there and then. they dont ask you to send it off and for it to be inspected, so you may be ok anyway
