Too small to read?
What's the coldest you have been in?
My nose starts to freeze at about -15oC
I can't believe I'm starting to think being this cold is normal

Yeah I have Pokémon on my phone...

The coldest I've ever been in was when I was in Niagara Falls in Canada. It was around -15 degrees C at the time I was there and that was crazy enough. Can't even imagine what -26 would be like though.

Here's what the falls looked like when I was there - the river had frozen right over. Although it was crazy cold, it was pretty cool to be there and to see it at a time when most tourists wouldn't.

Did some work supporting some Ice Racing a few years back and saw around -25°c. Not so much fun.

Spent a couple of hours chatting with a chap who spent a year at the south pole. Some of the temps he saw were just nasty. Was one of the bases where there's just a skeleton crew over the winter to keep the place and experiments running. he now makes some damn fine vacuum cold brew coffee.

I'd love to go there and join the 300 club though.

I suppose after a point you don't actually feel any colder, it's just ****ing freezing?

Yeah I'll pass thanks.

Heating struggles to keep this place warm when it drops to -1, think I'd be sleeping next to the radiator at those temps.

Would love to experience that. Think the coldest we had here in the midlands was the -15 or so we had a couple years ago.

I once did a 2-hour ride on an unfaired motorcycle... a Cruiser, actually, so you're basically spread-eagling into the wind like a kite.
Standing temperature was -7ºC, which the wind chill at 70mph put it to around -35ºC... and like an idiot I rode somewhat faster than that for as long as I could. What kept slowing me back down was actually the carb icing!

I don't think I've ever gone to -10, I don't think I'd be able to cope any lower! It was -3 this morning and that was bad enough

-27c (with wind chill) when I was snow boarding a few years back, had icicles hanging from my nose by the time I reached the bottom of the mountain.

It was -2 this morning here and that's too bloody cold!

Going to Lapland at the end of the month for a photography trip, I've been keeping an eye on the temperature and it's been between -26 and about -7, so should be fun :D I'm quite well kitted out with good thermals and boots, so hopefully it should be enough. The lowest i've previously experienced was -13 and that wasn't *tooo* bad.. :o

I went to Oslo in Jan last year and that was -17c which was damn cold. Been skiing plenty of times though so I imagine at the top of the mountain I've hit colder. Funnily enough my memories of skiing are always of being sweaty and hot :p
