was thinking of getting it is it that bad? l4d was good but the demo of l4d2 was a bit meh a update or add on will do that if you mean

It's superb but, as you'll see from the above, it's not for everyone.

Any part of the game with good people on your team and/or against you, is what makes this game what it is. If you only want to play singleplayer, or play with randoms online, then your mileage may vary (considerably!).
