Anyone from Barnsley? Is it snowing?

Hi all,

Just wondering if it has snowed recently in Barnsley and if so how bad? Has it settled? Are the roads snowy?

Reason I ask is because there is someone at work who is renowned for pulling sickies hasn't turned up today because of the snow. She has been told off for the amount of sick days she has had so we all think she is now finding other excuses...

I don't actually live in or anywhere near Barnsley, but I would like this woman fired. And so would you from the sound of it.
 
Friend on facebook lives between Barnsley and Rotherham - and said it was snowing like mental yesterday but its clear on the roads today.

Are the roads at all bad though. Bad enough that you can get stuck and not be able to make it into work?

The annoying thing is she won't even make a second effort later in the day. Not that it is genuine anyways.
 
Girl from barnsley was here at work it takes her 1h 20mins.. to close to Buxton Derbyshire an she travels that every day,

she was here at 9am fine roads are clear
 
Mate said roads were fine - he does live 15 minutes drive from Barnsley but I can't imagine its that much different.
 
girlfriends works in the centre of barnsley, i'll ask her when she gets home.
