anyone game on there macbook (pro)

I think you need the pro for the proper graphics card.

I play counterstrike, WoW and Command and Conquer 3 fine on my MBP w/ 2gb
 
how long does battery last gamming, I know you probably game with mains but just for arguments sake how long with battery ?

Ive just started to play Wow on it today, had a 10 day trial a couple months back.

Runs very well! Everything high with 2xAA and 4xAF, only need 2xAA on my MBP as the res of the sceen is sooo good! 1650x1050

This is on a MBP, 2.33, 2gb, 256 X1600

You'll need the pro just for the quality graphics chip.

i've only got the 128MB graphics card, but its never "held me back" so to speak.

battery life would prob be about 90 minutes gaming compared to 3 hours 30 just doing normal stuff
 
Does the notebook get really hot after sustained gaming? Is one reducing its life in using it such a way?
 
I've been using my 1.83 MBP for playing the new C&C for the last couple of days. It doesn't get noticeably hotter to the touch, but the fans rev up after a couple of minutes then throttle down to a medium setting. I've got an iCurve stand which also helps keep the temperature down.
 
Yeah, when the fans kick in its quite noisy, and the base gets a bit warmer (cause i'm usually using it in bed too). But i've had no problems otherwise :)
