Anyone get calls from a company called "C.A.R.S"

I have had one today, they call from a mobile number, and hung up when I answered.

I call back on the number, and got sent through to a representative who wanted to know the number they had called, I gave them that number. The line then went dead.

I called again, and when i got a representative, I asked him who "C.A.R.S" was, and why they wanted my number, straight away, the line went dead.

Anyone have any idea who they are?

From a quick google looks like a debt collection agency.

I managed to get back to them on the mobile number they called me on, and it then tranferred me to another number. (where i was hung up on twice!)

I then managed to get an office number after you guys told me who they were, and have discussed it with a lady at the offices.

Tiscali changed to Talk-Talk a few days after I vacated a property. Somewhere along the line talk-talk and tiscali admin got muddled. They had no record of me leaving the property (which i sold) and then transferred my account to talk-talk. They continued to send requests and mail to the (now empty) property. So, i had no idea I was being charged!

I now share a house with my mrs, and pay her rent. Talk-talk want bills from my new address from the first month after I left. I have none, everything is in my GF's name as she was in the property before I moved!

So, I am disputing the amounts, and talk-talk say I have no evidence. Looks like I shall have to get a letter from the solicitors who were dealing with the sale, and get it send to talk-talk to shut them up!
