Anyone getting freezes after iLife media update?

Don't know if it's a coincidence but I've been getting prolonged beechball and freezes ever since installing the iLife Media Browser Update.

10.5.6 now freezes when playing back video, audio. Very unlike my machine and very annoying.

Just wondered if anyone is seeing the same thing.

Installed the update but haven't seen that behaviour as of yet.

Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility.

Run the "repair permissions" command

'Permissions Repaired' and all seems back to good.

Had to do it twice though.

First time I did it made no difference hence original Heads Up.

Anyways, all back to swell now so Thanks anyway.

When Apple re-released the 10.5.6 update my friend and a couple of other people were having problems where their machines just wouldn't start. It was solved by re-installing.

I only mention the re-release because it only seemed to happen when installing the iLife media update at the same time. So for anyone who still hasn't updated, just be careful.

Also my college is all Mac based and the IT Network Manager was getting ****** about the update because tutors had done the same thing.
