Anyone getting Resi Evil 5 this week?

Saw the 360 review on IGN and it looks cool but not sure how it will be ported to the PC. Remember reviews of Resi 4 for PC were terrible. Anyone getting this or seen any reviews yet? I can't find any on the usual sites.
 
Has it actually been 100% confirmed for PC at all? I've seen a few shops taking PC version preorders but only a bunch of "we cannot confirm or deny" stuff from Capcom themselves. If it's coming out on PC at all though, it probably won't be until at least June :(.

Saw it advertised on that purpled logo'd high st store's website last night; just checked and it now simply says 4/2009. Didn't realise there was uncertainty about its release - the big river place is still showing this Friday...

PC version won't be out for a few months but I'm getting mine in the post hopefully on Friday for the 360.
 
Capcom currently are still deciding on a PC version.

Once there is official confirmation, hopefully it will be a quality decent port like Lost Planet and Devil May Cry 4 as they did it themselves, and not outsourced to third party developers like some previous games.

We still got Street Fighter IV PC version in the meantime though.

Yeah but street fighter is going to be such a hacked game with macros it will only be fun playing against people in the same room.

RE5 I wouldnt have thought that it would be out anytime soon for pc.
 
RE5 is 100% coming for PC but probably not for another 4-6 months. Reason they will not announce it officially yet is so that they sell more copies to PS3+ X360 players (like me who cannot wait). Will pick up the PC version anyway but until it arrives will be happy with the 360 one as it will be very close anyway. Capcom are only a small company and use all their dev resource on the console versions then when done put the same teams onto the PC to perfect it which is why their recent Lost Planet & Devil May Cry4 ports were so good as they handle all of this in house now. Currently Capcom have the following games all for PC in the next year:

2009
RE5
Dark Void
Bionic Commando
Street Fighter 4 (Summer 09 confirmed)

2010:
Dead Rising 2
Lost Planet2
 
Played the Demo of Res 5 on a friends PS3. For years ive been a Resident Evil fan however I hated 4 and I hated the demo of 5. i know hates abit strong but that was my intial feelings towards the game. The chunky slow paced aiming/moving system and poorly done AI really put me off. I guess ive been too use to L4D.
