Anyone going to Focus this year?

Been speaking to Tom, apparently it's not an all day event really, so going to go on Saturday and meet him there and have a good wonder round and just enjoy the day out.

Me and Him are both registered, if you have a business card you can register as trade so its free. I've asked Mark see if he wants to go, be cool if others can meet up :)

If it's Saturday I could get there by 10 ish and stay til about 12-1.

But I bet Saturday will be packed!

Worth going just to try out the entire range of lenses on your camera :)
When holding a D3s with Sigma 200-500 f/2.8, the burning temptation to run is incredible. There were some dudes demoing some photoshop techniques and plugins this year which I found quite useful.

I went last year on either the Monday or Tuesday. Jacobs had two stands with interesting prices on some goods plus there were a few others with reasonable prices. But be careful - I nearly bought a Gary Fong Lightsphere but was glad I didn't as the on-line prices were much better than I would have paid there. I had useful chats about Canon printers and Sigma lenses, etc. The wedding section seemed quite extensive but of no interest to me. After about 13:00 there were just too many people and I ran away!

Im going, free entry for me and £15 for a minibus but im going by my own car. No way am i going to be cramped in a minibus thats limited to 56mph and birmingham is 450 miles away each way!

it is odd that Cannon says its not going Eldude. Im plannin to go on the Sunday with a friend & hope to see the new siggy 120 - 300 f2.8 etc. I use Cannon kit so im a bit dissapointed they pulled out. I hope the retailers have all the new cannon gear anyways.
