Anyone good at DIY and can advise?

Dont really want to just glue the top incase I need to repair it etc

Any ideas?

Can double sided velcro be strong? The box probably only weighs 1kg. Would seem the easiest option

Well.it would be sitting exactly above the water so I will have a test of the velcro in B&Q, failing that the above scetch looks good!
