Hi

I can not work this out at all !!
need help please

I'm looking at buying some Car Pro Hydro 2 for my car,

Costs and dilution ratio are as follows :

Ready to use product would cost me a 1 litre bottle @£22 delivered

or

(concentrated) Not ready mixed bottle of 100ml would cost me @ £18 delivered

if I dilute the concentrated product down 6 parts product, 1 part water into a spay bottle
(example 1L)
(6:1 is 14.3ml of product , 85.7ml of water)

how much money would I be saving (or not if that's the case) against a ready to use bottle ?

:D

but i do not know how much the 100ml concentrate would cost me to get the same as ready made product where it be 100ml or 1000 ml etc

I'm assuming it's 6 parts water, 1 part product, not the other way around as per your OP.

Concentrate = 700ml of mixed solution for £18 (100ml concentrate, 600ml water)
£18/700 = £0.025, meaning a cost of 2.5p per ml

Pre-mixed = £22 for 1000ml
£22/1000 = £0.022, meaning a cost of 2.2p per ml

The pre-mixed is 85% the cost of the concentrate.

wow !

give that man a haribo !

Now I'm curious as to why the ready mixed is cheaper. It's usually the other way around. Different suppliers? Special offer?

its very hard to get it in the UK, so not many places sell them
wanted to be sure buying the concentrated version was indeed cheaper, but alas its NOT !

its called Car Pro Hydro 2 (concentrate)
Car pro Hydro 2 LITE (ready made)

slims Detailing sell the pre made for £17 + £5 delivery
