Hi all, I've searched the forum and the newest guide (I found) was 2015.
Can anyone give an up-to-date guide on flashing the RTX 3090, zotac "trinity" is the make, will be flashing it to a Gigabyte Gaming OC.
I've looked online. No detailed guides on how they did it for a 3090, only info given was the card and bios to be flashed details.
I've tried following guides for other cards but run into a problem. Step 1 is back up the BIOS, I try that with GPU-Z and get the following BSOD with an error message "Stop code : SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED. Stop code nvlddmkm.sys" and it reboots automatically in about 10 seconds.
In case this error is caused by protection on the BIOS, I tried nvflash64.exe --protectoff in cmd prompt (as admin) and get the same error message as above. I've tried googling the error message, there's nothing there relevant to GPU BIOS flashing.
I haven't actually tried the command for flashing the BIOS yet, i'm a bit hesitant, with the above error message and all and it's a £1600 card etc.
Any ideas?
