No, it doesn't work*, I don't think any of them work anymore

*checked it on my address, it says I'm offline when I'm most certainly not

Just create a new account that sounds interesting and doesn't refer to you.

Add their address, if they accept straight away, they are online.

If you get no response, they might have declined but most likely they are offline.

I don't stalk people, just so you know.

checked it on three different addresses. Two of mine, one of my friend's.
Reported me online for one, but the other two as offline, even though both accounts are in fact, online

Also has a feature to find out everyone who's blocked you but you need to give your username and password (just change it to before you do it and then back again afterwards if you're worried).

Yes, but we do not guarantee it. As on January 16, 2004, Microsoft has patched the method which MSN Status Checker was using, Now if the person has "Only people in my allow list can see my status and send me messages" option enabled, then you will see them offline. And we cant do anything with this.

So that's why it didn't work for me.

Tripole doesn't work if the person has the "only people on my Allow List can see my status and send me messages" box ticked, which may be by default.
