Anyone got a good way of removing sticker?

I need to replace my vista sticker with the win7 sticker, but I dont want to ruin the plasic on my antec 900 with removing the vista sticker... Any Ideas guys???

Soften it up with some hot water then peel it off slowly.

Also the Akasa TIM Remover is the exact same stuff as Betterware sell under the name of Sticky Stuff Remover, so if you have some of that, it would help too.

Alittle white spirit on a cloth is also good for removing the residue left behind when removing stickers.

I would use a damp warm sponge and soak the sticker, just don't rush it.

What I did was first get a hairdryer and heat up the sticker then straight after remove it. Any residue left can be easily removed with an eraser (pencil eraser).

Might sound a bit stupid but it gets rid of the residue

I honestly don't know why people put stickers on, they look very tacky.

They only look tacky if you go overboard, or put them in the wrong place.

You've got us all a bit worried now, and i'm not even going to ask how you know that.

done this before getting the crap off from the stickers they put on lap tops and the best thing was peel what you could have the sticker off, usually leaving that sticky residue then use a little WD40 sprayed onto a cloth rubbing into the residue and it just disappears like magic. Use a dry cloth to rmove the smears and it looks like new.

Yeah thats right, actually its the same pic too, couldnt be bothered to take anothe pic.

The inside of my case looks quite tidy aswel,, a lot of ppl would think Im crazy buying a win7 sticker, but I just think it finishes things off.

peel the sticker off with your fingers then deal with the residue. heating it up, water etc etc are not going to make a blind bit of difference. I use panel wipe / wax and grease remover (product intended for painters) to get such residue off, but said 'sticky stuff remover' works in the same way.

alcohol works to a fashion, but nowhere near as effective as afore mentioned products.

peel sticker, dollop some furniture polish on the residue(put it on cloth first so it dont spray everywhere), have a cuppa, then wipe off with clean cloth, job done.

Peel off. Isopropyl alcohol will clean offth residue.

Nail varnish remover ought to do the trick for removing the glue. Any organic solvent I guess but choose wisely otherwise you'll dissolve the case instead.

DONT! use Nail varnish remover its the DEVIL and destroys evrything lol no but serious dont use it that stuff is awful its made a right mess when ive used it to do such things like this in the pass

Don't use nail varnish remover it will melt the plastic i found out the hard way when i tried to remove from sticker residue.
