Hi looking for a handful of small labels printing. No idea how to do it apart from by using a label printer

Wondered if anyone would be able to do it if they had it for a small fee

Mods. If this is not allowed then my apologies.

Thanks

What kind of labels? What size? What application? We have some here but I'd be very surprised if it's what you need.

What sort of labels do you mean?

If you have an ordinary printer, you can buy sheets of labels and print on to them, before peeling them from their sheet and sticking them to whatever it is you want to stick them to.

Small. About size 10 font
To stick onto plastic

To read

12v in
12v in
12v out
Fan on
Fan off
Mains in
Mains on
Mains off

I would say size wise. Would be about the same as your address etc on gas bills. Bank statements

Yeah, i would buy a4 label sheets. We have plenty of label printers here at work but some are quite fiddley to calibrate the label size. If you do it yourself you can just do it on word or publisher and make minor adjustments to placement of objects if you get the measurements wrong or they dont come out how you would like.

21 Sheets is probably the size you are after if its anything like the ones they use for my address labels.

Yep, but as with anything that prints, the cartridges are where they make their money. If you're going to use it a lot it might be worth checking out the price of cartridges as a tenner more now could save you a lot more in the long run.

Drop me a trust email, I can sort you out. A4 multi label sheets etc or rolls of small/medium. I have bartender here so can put whatever onc barcodes etc onto it).

If you buy avery labels they have a tool to give you a template in word directly so what you put in will always fit, no need for messing with alignment :)

My company uses about 12 different labels from 4 different brands, so in the end i got some label software and spent the day making tons of templates for the guys that print them. We use a word template for a safety label i believe but everything else has barcodes generated at printing which takes data from our data server, which requires the use of the software for the generating of the barcode.

Wasp labeller is what i use, its alright when you print from a roll and need to change the roll size, annoying for the jack of all trades IT guy but super easy once templates are set up so others can jsut click print when they need to. Not worth it for a quick job like this though, printer + a4 sheets + word imo is the quickest way to go, those handheld jobbies look a bit of effort compared to just typing it up and clicking print.
