Anyone got a Nokia CK-7W?

Hi guys,

Had a Nokia CK-7W in the car for ages now. Only with my last two phones (Nokia N95 8Gb then Nokia N97) the button on the dash wont hang up calls. It'll activate voice dialling, it'll answer calls, it'll adjust call volume but the only way to end a call is use the handset itself or hope the other person hangs up.

This annoys me.

Anyone else had this?

Haven't had one personally but my friend had one in his evo before we ripped it out for a jvc unit and it worked perfectly well with his Nokia 5800 which is S60 5th edition same as the N97 so I wouldn't have thought it was a phone issue.

It's an old kit now and it's probably not fully compatible with new phones. I think the only thing you can do is replace it for a new kit, Nokia do a CK-100 which is similar to the CK-7W but a lot more modern.

Do you have one of you old phones still to charge up and try out with it? that way you can find out if it's the newer phones or some weird problem with the car kit. Could also try a different make of phone in case Nokia have done something on the newer ones to stop this working on the old kits.
