Looking at buying one of these cases in the next few days, just wanna knwo if any people on here have got one and what they think of the cases etc, are they well laid out or are there better cases for the same money. I'm paying £55 for a black one from a well known comp store in Bolton, but thats without a PSU. With a 525w PSU @ £45 it brings the total price to £100. Can anyone recommend me a better case with a PSU for £100 or less? or is this case a good one for the money?

Cheers
Daniel

They are ok cases for the money and exactly what you would expect, nothing to suggest it was more money than it was. It has the Silverstone name premium added on as is usual, but its a good case.

Now if you want a excelent case for a couple of quid more, get the Lian Li PC7+, its full aluminium, built to last, good cooling and not bad looks for the money. It is a giant killer really as I can think of cases it is in direct competition with that are twice its price (mainly silverstones) and still beating them on build quality right up to the TJ03 Nimitz and TJ07, thoose are the only two I would consider better built in the TJ line than a PC7+.

If you like the bland looks, going by silverstone its your thing (yey!) then the PC7+ is sub £100 for the case the best option.

The case sucks, seriously, get a Thermaltake instead of that. Read up some reviews mate, it is really bad.

PC7+ is bland, but a better choice.

Although a lot of the reviewers of the TJ01 that I have read, I would not trust a word that they say personally.

One of my favourite reviews ever was someone rating a v1000+ as 9% due to it not having flashing lights or a busy front. Made me laugh how completely biased the reviewer was and how he had lost the plot on what a Lian Li was.

I would only trust a review for just about anything, when it is in comparrisson to something else that I know, that way I can get a idea of how they compare in their eyes, but still I prefer getting hands on with cases especially, as they can never be given in the right light in my opinion through reviews.

Yewen, I use reviews to get a feel of the case, the little nuts and crannys.

The nuts and crannys on this case is really quite bad.

I know it is a bad case, but I am just having a moan at reviews :p

Just when reviewers say things like, im knocking this case down 100 points as it looks bland, it annoys me as looks are a very personal thing.

I really don't like these kinds of posts they are not helpful in any way at all!

Can you not give some basic reason as to why "the case sucks" and why a Thermaltake would be better in your opinion? Would make thinks so much better!

You wont be dissapointed, cracking case :)

Yeh, pics are needed!

How much you end up paying for it?

£63 inc P&P. No PSU though, but hey figured its a nice enough case :) Just been reading some reviews on it, its gonna be housing my new AMD64 3700 rig :) Will get the case on Thursday so i'll try and get you lot some piccys.

The don't look amazing value, they ARE amazing value, best build quality this side of £100 and miles ahead of most above that, good cooling and great looks I think, although it is right up my street, the brushed aluminium is gorgeous on every single one I have seen!

Not seen one in the flesh so would'nt know.

You really need to, it is the only stand out part of a PC7, its brushed aluminium as it really is the bit that makes the look of the case work, without it; the PC7 is just a silver box with holes.

With the brushing, its a joy to behold, it is unbeleiveable how much better the case looks with brushed aluminium in the flesh to the pictures. :)

I agree, that type of finish looks amazing. There was a couple of pics on here of a similar if not the same case even. The way everything reflected inside the case caught my eye!
