Anyone got an Accelero X2 yet

Got mine today and will be fitting it tonight, just wondering if anyone has any experiences of fitting and using one yet.

Seems from the three or four reviews I have found online, that not only is it way quieter than the stock fan, it reduces temps a fair bit also. I guess the only concern is that it blows hot air down onto the motherboard, not out the back of the case. But none of the review sites flagged that as a problem and having a PM based system, my internal temps are not too bad anyway.

Just got mine! nice package, im not going to be installing myself, ive collared a friend of mine to do it for me (twitchy fingers!). Using on a Sapphire X1900XTX...............stock colled is 45 deg idle and 90!! whacked up !!! and noisy of course so im looking forward to hearing something a little less loud. not sure what temp reduction to expect as ive seen no X1900 reviews yet.

Got mine fitted now and I am well happy with it. For a start the fan is running at a constant 100% and although its not silent, its probably the same level of noise the stock cooler generates at 35%.

Running at stock, it idles in Windows about 44C which is about 8C cooler than it was running. This goes up to 61C after 10 mins of artifact scanning in ATI Tool, again at least 8C or so better than the stock HSF and quieter too.
After upping the vcore from 1.275 to 1.525, overclocking the card to 700/850 and running the artifact test again, the temp rose to 80C.
I never got up to this level of overclock with the stock fan, although it would have done it, I couldn't stand the bleeding from the ears that was a necessary side effect.

To summarise, this thing is a massive improvement over the stock HSF and from my experiences so far, I can recommend it.
