anyone got much experience with acers empowering technology software

I have a new acer 7720G laptop and the eaudio software is a nuisance, i keep selecting a certain mode and eq i want but everythime i restart my pc is reverts back to the default one, is this an ongoing problem or a known problem?

it's absolute balls. I hate it. I ended up uninstalling the wireless and security parts of it on my gf's laptop as they were such a pain in the arse.
