anyone got one of those 3g usb mobile modems ?

i am using a datacard and i am not in a turbo area yet so only getting 384.0 Kbps
 
I'm on T-mobile using web n walk through my phone. It's pretty good for occasional use, but not sure i could use it as my primary internet connection.

I got these pings for the ip you specified but get average of 250-300 from most sites, just like isar did.

You will pretty much find that you get 56k modem speeds unless you are in a major urban area if you go Vodafone. I have one attached to the back of my adsl router should my main isp go down, its good backup if you need internet access on the road or abroad.

Strangely, it was very quick when I went to Holland a few months ago.
