just played the 360 demo and was quite impressed just wondered if anyone got the pc version despite the DRM.

Looks very good on the 360 so hopefully should be equally impressive on the pc

30 of april on pc

the DRM on this that always on net connection needed?

yes no install limits, no cd required when playing i dont mind it at all to be honest i prefer it to other forms of drm.

Well that's not too bad.. I detest install limits. Not a problem for most people, but I'm forever switching hardware, reinstalling windows, and (back when I had *spit* Samsung drives) having hard drive failures. I'd rather stab myself in the eyes with a Samsung F1 than buy another game with activation limits.

Im buying it on steam so ill be online when i play it anyway so it doesnt bother me. Also we should post are steam names so we can arrange to do co-ops together.

Steam Name: bakes0310

As far as I am aware it wont' be available through Steam in the UK, just like Assassin Creed 2, Settlers 7 and Silent Hunter 5 aren't. Something to do with Ubisoft's contracts with UK retailers I think.

Got it for 360 and completely it on Medium Difficulty in two sittings (very long sittings). Still got to play the co-op campign, need someone who can play decently, not just a random person online. Feel free to add me to XBL: TiggBloomz.

Not out until end of this month. X360 version looks very dated but the biggest issue is the going to black & white all the time (most of the game basically) when your in the shadows & still FPS on X360 lags/stutters

Ubisoft need to patch this on PC as what's the point of releasing this with over 50% of the gametime spent in B+W mode using a modified Unreal Engine 2.5 (that's a 6+ year old game engine).

That's right - is it only a time limited thing though? Will we be able to get AC2 by Christmas? :D
