.... and made anything good? I assume there's some creative types on here that couldn't resist having a play ;)

Nope, I'm annoyed that it doesn't support background processes. That means no official version of MobileScrobbler or a decent podcast client. :(

Im fairly sure I read that this is not the case. Apps can run persistently but apple would prefer they didnt. For some apps it is just unavoidable.

I've been playing around with it a bit over the weekend, mainly the UIKit so far. I've managed to get a nice flippy thing going, like the prefs in Weather/Stocks.

I don't seem to be able to detect swipes though which is quite frustrating, either I can't get the simulator to produce them or code in the docs is wrong.

Might have a look into the other frameworks later.

I'm going to be downloading this soon

Made quite a few apps with Applescript in Xcode now so hopefully can get to grips with the SDK quite quickly and produce some apps, my C++/C specialisation should make the transition that bit easier

Got quite a few ideas as well :)

Yeah C++ will really help you.

The iPhone tester application is awesome! It's actually an iPhone! Plus I don't have one so it makes it even more exciting!

Anyone have an tutorials/sites on xcode?

Ok, using the Apple Dev centre. Seems good enough!
